Lana’s passion for the Paramedical Tattoo industry started in 2017 whilst working with breast cancer patients who had undergone a mastectomy to remove the areolas and have breast reconstruction. Lana has worked in the medical industry for over 12 years as a surgical product specialist in orthopaedic surgery and in breast reconstructive surgery. She has seen the impact that these scars can have on the patients confidence and recovery.

For cancer patients and those going through major surgery, it can also result in loss of hair, brows and lashes. The impact this has not just for these patients, but also Lana’s own family members that had undergone major surgery drove her to help and make a difference to their confidence, happiness and recovery. This is when The Ink Clinic was born.
